MDI solutions bridge the gap between the legacy plant floor control systems and the upper level business systems such as SAP and Oracle. Advanced Automation’s MDI solutions are designed and configured to the specific needs of our customers and are successful because of our in depth process knowledge and understanding of their business.
Our MDI solutions include three modules:
Data Reporting Module
This is the simplest module which allows our clients to view and print production reports and raw data from the system.
Key Performance Module
The Key Performance Module allows a production manager to establish benchmarks and to push data to a real-time computer screen for instant access. It’s designed to offer real-time performance management (RPM) and it is able to monitor the key performance requirements that have been specified during the implementation process.
ERP Module
The ERP tie-in module connects the front office process to the manufacturing processes. To successfully leverage the ERP module, it is vital to have a solid understanding of where the data comes from and to know when to correctly collect it. Second, it is crucial to understand how to present this data to the ERP in a fashion that will conform to the requirements of the ERP for the success of the system. Advanced Automation understands both of these components and all the other issues associated with an ERP initiative.
